How to get around
Walking and cycling are excellent means of transport in Bilbao, as there are quite a few pedestrianised streets as well as quite a good cycle lane network. The city has an excellent public transport infrastructure, recently voted the best in Spain.

In addition to single journey tickets, there are a range of day passes and carnets available:

5€, 10€, or 15 € options.
This card is valid in the Metro, on the Tram, on Bilbobus (local buses), on Bizkaibus (provincial network), for the La Salve lift, for the Artxanda cable railway, for the Transporter bridge, and on Euskotren. It has no time limit and can be used by more than one person on the same trip. It is sold in all stations, tobacconists, newstands, and ONCE cabins.

Bilbao Card
In addition to free transport, this card offers discounts in museums, restaurants, shops, etc. It can be purchased at the Tourism office and Bilbao Lodging.
Prices: 1 day: 6 €. 2 days: 10 €. 3 days: 12 €
