Walking
Walking in Bilbao is a local passtime especially in the afternoon ("hora
del paseo"). In the city centre, most places of interest are within walking
distance and are frequented by locals and tourists alike. There are several
pleasant walks and strolls to be enjoyed, especially thorough the pedestrianised
streets in the Casco Viejo and the Ensanche.
