How to see it
This is a comfortable city to walk around, as most places of interest are within
walking distance from each other, and there are many pedestrianised streets
and squares (plazas). Walking is also a good way to appreciate the lively town
centre, and how the new mixes with the old. The opening of the Guggenheim Museum
provided the impetus for a re-discovery (by visitors and locals alike) of many
interesting sites such as the Casco Viejo, the Fine Arts Museum or Teatro Arriaga.
This website offers several routes to discover them.
