Beaches
Bizkaia´s coast is a rugged terrain with 150 Km of sandy beaches, tall cliffs and pleasant valleys. Most of the beaches are well maintained, have beach guards, public services (showers, conveniences and others), and good access. Many of them are used by locals for sports and recreation throughout the year. The closest to Bilbao are those in the Uribe-Kosta area, easily accesible by public transport – either by metro, Bizkaibus buses, and Renfe or Euskotren trains.
