Surf
The Basque coast, due to the strength of the Cantabrian Sea, is an ideal place
for surf. Several championships and tournaments are held on its beaches, including
the World Cup competitions held in Mundaka.

Sailing
Different routes along the Basque coast are organized by the Puerto Deportivo

Rowing
Rowing is one of the most traditional sports in the Basque Country. Best known
are the trainera races; these are small narrow boats with a crew of 13 and
a skipper. The official tournament is held every Summer along the Cantabrian
Sea coast, and ends in early September with the Bandera de La Concha race
in San Sebastián.
