Bilbao International airport

Guggenheim Museum
The museum, designed by US architect Frank O. Gehry, occupies 32,550 sq m of the Abandoibarra area. Its different volumes are joined by glass walls, which provide a sense of tranparency and luminosity to the building. These walls have been especially treated so that the natural light does not damage the art works. Outside, the building is covered in “fish-scales” titanium planks, which minimizes the glare created by the sunlight´s reflection.
